This antique treasure is made of 18 karat yellow gold and contains three pieces of oval cut onyx. The larger central onyx is oriented vertically while the two smaller onyxes are oriented horizontally. The central onyx has an eight-pointed gold star inset at its center that's punctuated by five seed pearls, while the side onyxes have a four-pointed star accented by a single central pearl. A vertical column of three seed pearls separates each of the stones from each other.
This pin fastens with an original C-clasp and comes in its original box, a square black box with gold trim from Strawbridge & Clothier, a now closed department store in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that was founded in 1868.
